J O C K   M A C D O N A L D

Jock MacDonald has been a professional actor for over twenty-five years. He has appeared on stage throughout the United States and in England, including the starring role in the award winning off- Broadway show, Recenzio. Jock has had major roles in over ten motion pictures, with starring role in three, most recently with Karen Allen and Peter Coyote in The Basket. Mr. MacDonald has co- starred on many primetime television shows
including Murphy Brown, Pensacola and most recently on Providence.
 
Jock has been an acting teacher throughout his career at Ohio University, University of Vermont, University of Southern Maine, high schools and privately. He has a BA in theatre from the University of Vermont, an MFA in acting from Ohio University and a diploma in acting from BADA, Oxford University. He is a certified film acting coach with The Carter Thor Studio, Los Angeles, and currently teaches film acting classes in New York City, Burlington, Vermont and Montreal. Jock lives in Middlesex, Vermont with his wife Elizabeth and their son Colin. Their daughter Amanda is professional actress in Los Angeles.
