MAIN STAGE PRODUCTIONS
As a part of Alice Carter and Cameron Thor's ongoing support of the actors dream, they have made their theatre space available all year round for currently enrolled students to initiate their own productions. Once a student has been at the studio for a minimum of eight months, they can initiate either an original work or published work (authorization required) production. Students are responsible for all phases of play production including casting, directing, producing, design and stage management. Each production receives up to three weekends of show dates and two weeks of theatre rehearsal time. |

OFF NIGHT PRODUCTIONS
Due to the overwhelming increase in Main Stage productions, Alice Carter and Cameron Thor have opened up to currently enrolled students another way of producing a play at the studio. Off Night Productions are featured on the Main Stage and students are responsible for all phases of play production. Each production receives up to two performances on either a Monday and/or Tuesday evening.

ATTENTION WRITERS
We are always looking for new material to produce at the studio. You do not need to be a currently enrolled student at the studio to submit material for consideration for future productions. Plays can be submitted for any length but we prefer material that does not require royalties. Our preference are plays that have not been recently produced in the Los Angeles area.
To submit a play, please call the Admin office at 818.760.9426. We will need the logline, synopsis and character breakdown. Please have the list of past productions and current contact information. |
